As most all of you have heard, Remington was purchased earlier this year by a conglomerate investment group. But what I didn’t put together was the fact that it is the same group that just recently purchased Chrysler. I’m wondering if we are going to see some impressive new options on Chrysler vehicles, perhaps a “precision rifle defensive convenient group” on the 300C? Joking aside (yes, that was a joke), the new group also purchased Bushmaster and there may be some working together between Remington and Bushmaster on certain products. I do not know what other holdings this investment groups has, but these three good USA companies being owned by a USA investment group initially doesn’t sound bad, hopefully it all plays out well.
