Well, it has been a while since I had posted on the blog so I thought I would just post a quick update and wish everyone a Happy Halloween!
There has been a lot going on around SC these days and many things are being worked on, so I figured I would just kind of let everyone know whats coming up.
- The Falcon Menace 4.5-18×56mm scopes should be here very soon, hopefully within a week. I am currently working on the review of the pre-production prototype I have here and I hope to have that review up in the next few days. The scopes look very promising, though I do prefer a 50mm over the 56mm, but hey, more light gathering.
- The next member only page is going to be “movement techniques” and I spent a few weeks doing some ghillie maintenance, primarily changing the colors as it is fall here and much more brown than my current ghillie was and there will be pictures, so I need to have it looking a bit better. This page will talk about various movement techniques and then the next member page will be the stalking path selection page. I need to get these going fairly quick before winter completely sets in.
- The new Special Edition rifles (308 and 260) will be starting up shortly, if interested, email us.
- The next rifle review we are putting together is a review of a Remington 700P tune-up by Tactical Operations. It is a service provided by Tac-Ops that not a lot of people are aware of where they take a 700P and run their magic over it, cut down the barrel, tune the action, etc and they typically end up shooting about .25 MOA. That review should be ready in about 2 weeks.
- For the members section we are working to add some basic account update ability as well.
- We are also working to add member-pricing directly into the /shop/ area of the site for items that we directly sell there.
- We also are working on adding a RSS feed to let you know when the site has been updated, for those of you that do RSS.
- There is a huge back log of things we are working on, so don’t worry about fresh content! We’ll be getting it up as fast as we can quality produce it.
As you can see, there is a lot going on and this is just a small fraction of our todo list… so stay tuned!
